We're looking for a Client Account Manager who doesn't wait to be told what needs doing — someone who already knows. This is a commercially focused, client-facing role at the centre of SwitchCo's growth. You'll own existing client relationships end-to-end, drive account expansion, and make sure the business never loses momentum on a deal due to lack of follow-through.
This role works hand-in-glove with our Business Development Manager. Where the BDM opens doors, you make sure what's behind them is polished, pipeline-ready, and professionally delivered. Initially you'll also carry Sales Coordinator responsibilities, with a transition plan in place as we scale.

Your Daily Blueprint
- Client Relationships: Take personal ownership of all existing client accounts — relationship quality, commercial health, and retention are yours to own.
- Account Growth: Identify and action upsell, cross-sell, and scope expansion opportunities within every account.
- BDM Partnership: Act as the day-to-day operational partner to the BDM — preparing proposals, capability statements, and collateral so no sales opportunity loses momentum.
- Pipeline & CRM: Own the CRM. Keep it accurate, current, and leadership-ready at all times. Produce regular pipeline and forecast reports that require no interpretation to act on.
- Proposal Writing: Lead proposal preparation end-to-end — tailored, well-structured, and delivered fast.
- Collateral Management: Build and maintain a SharePoint library of proposal templates, case studies, and CVs to enable fast, consistent submissions.

This is a fast-paced, commercially accountable role. You'll need to be comfortable holding colleagues to account, challenging inaction when deals are at stake, and operating with a high degree of independence. The role carries real ownership — not just task completion.
Your Toolkit for Success
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in account management, client success, or a client-facing sales role.
- Proven ability to retain and grow client relationships, with evidence of expanded engagement or measurable satisfaction outcomes.
- Experience supporting or working alongside a BDM or senior sales professional.
- Proficiency in a CRM platform — or the demonstrated ability to get there fast — with a high standard of data discipline.
- Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills; comfortable with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor tone and content to any audience.
- Experience managing offshore or remote team members is desirable.
