This position is ideally suited to a Sales Engineer, Sales Manager or Account Manager who has several years’ of successfully selling capital equipment or heavy machinery in the WA market. You are looking for a trusted, best in class brand and an employer who will help you grow your career. You may have connections with the trucking industry or have sold heavy vehicles, or perhaps you have sold capital equipment to businesses operating heavy vehicle fleets. You may come from a mechanical, engineering or pure sales background and you will be comfortable with the technical nature of selling a highly engineered product set.

The Opportunity
You will be inheriting a well-established customer base across a range of different industries and use this loading and lifting equipment. Whilst the spread of customers you inherit, and the new customers you will be targeting, are from a range of industries, key to your success will be the relationships you build with key personnel at truck dealerships and fleet operators across Perth as well as in regional locations across WA.
The role will have a 80% Customer Relationship Management focus and a 20% New Business Development focus and you will be engaged in facilitating the complete end-to-end sales process from initial qualification to deal close and then in turn the ongoing relationship management.
Reporting through to the National Sales Manager, you will be joining as the No. 1 person in Western Australia and the newest member of a highly successfully National Sales Team.
Ideally you will spend 3 to 4 days a week calling on the market across the Perth metro area and also across regional and country WA [which will involve travelling once a quarter for 1 – 2 days at a time] - and then 1 - 2 days a week in the office, planning, completing follow up work and preparing quotes.
Excellent product training is available and there will also by a high level of support provided to you from your colleagues across Australia and around the world.

- Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
