KYC Refresh Analyst
BOQ Group
About The Role
We’re looking for a KYC Refresh Analyst to join our Financial Crime Operations team - someone who enjoys customer interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in keeping our customer information accurate, up to date and compliant.
This role sits at the heart of our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) work, supporting how we meet our AML/CTF obligations while delivering a positive customer experience at the same time. It’s a customer-facing role, so you’ll spend a good part of your day connecting with customers, both inbound and outbound to validate and update KYC information and ensure everything in our systems reflects what we need it to.
Alongside your customer interactions, you’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload, keeping things moving, hitting your targets and raising any risks or roadblocks along the way. You’ll be working closely with your team and leaders to make sure we’re delivering consistently and accurately, while also contributing to ongoing improvements in how we do things.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structure but doesn’t mind a bit of pace, and who takes pride in doing things properly - because the detail really does matter in this space.
About You
You – our successful candidate is someone who feels comfortable picking up the phone and talking to customers, even when the volume is high. You know how to balance efficiency with empathy. Whether you’ve come from a contact centre or customer service background, you’re used to managing competing priorities and keeping things on track.
You’ve got a good eye for detail and take pride in getting things right, especially when it comes to updating systems and working within regulatory frameworks. Experience in financial services or exposure to AML/CTF and KYC processes will definitely help, but your mindset and willingness to learn are just as important.
You’re organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, but you also enjoy being part of a team that supports each other and celebrates the wins (big and small). Most importantly, you care about the customer experience just as much as you care about compliance. If this sounds like you – we would love to hear from you!
