Helpdesk / Level 2 Support - ICT

We’re seeking a hands-on Device Replacement Officer to support a large-scale end-user device refresh. You’ll work as part of an ICT support team delivering device swaps, setup and post-deployment support, ensuring users transition smoothly with minimal downtime.

This is a initial 2 month contract with strong extensions.

What you’ll be doing

• Roll out and replace laptops/desktops and mobile devices (setup, configuration, handover)
• Support users during device changeovers and troubleshoot desktop issues
• Assist with OS/app deployment and standard build activities
• Log and resolve incidents/requests using structured service processes (ITIL-aligned)
• Help manage device logistics (returns, stock movement, site support)
• Travel within Queensland when required (up to 5 days at a time)

What you’ll bring

• Experience in desktop support / EUC / field services in a corporate or enterprise environment
• Working knowledge of some/all of:
  • Windows / operating systems
  • Device imaging or OS deployment processes
  • Microsoft 365
  • Desktop & mobile hardware troubleshooting
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
• Strong customer service and clear communication skills
• Proactive, problem-solving approach and ability to work in a team

Requirements

• On-site: Brisbane CBD, 5 days/week
• Manual handling: lifting/moving equipment (up to 15kg) and trolleying devices
• Travel: Queensland travel may be required (up to 5 days at a time)
• Highly desirable: valid Australian driver’s licence

Casual Loading

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
