As our Australian business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead sales strategy, marketing planning, client growth and automotive industry development for the Australian market.

About the Role

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to support Hylink Australia’s growth, particularly across automotive brands, vehicle manufacturers, distributors and dealer networks.

This is a senior management role requiring strong experience in automotive sales, marketing strategy, dealer network development, brand growth, digital transformation and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work closely with local leadership, international teams, clients and external partners to drive commercial growth and improve market competitiveness.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to grow Hylink Australia’s automotive client portfolio and market presence.

* Leading business development activities with vehicle manufacturers, distributors, dealer groups and automotive industry partners.

* Identifying new market opportunities across automotive, EV, mobility and related sectors.

* Building and maintaining senior-level relationships with automotive clients, dealer investors, distributors, media partners and industry stakeholders.

* Overseeing sales planning, client growth strategies, market analysis and commercial proposals.

* Developing integrated marketing strategies to improve brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation and sales conversion for automotive clients.

* Advising clients on dealer network development, retail marketing, customer journey improvement and digital sales transformation.

* Coordinating with internal teams to deliver marketing campaigns, digital media programs, content strategies, social media activities and performance reporting.

* Analysing market trends, competitor activities, consumer behaviour and dealer performance to support data-driven sales and marketing decisions.

* Supporting the development of digital tools, CRM programs, private-domain marketing, lead management and customer retention strategies.

* Preparing sales forecasts, marketing plans, management reports and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and overseas headquarters.

* Managing and mentoring sales, marketing and client service team members to ensure high-quality delivery and strong commercial outcomes.

* Supporting cross-border communication between Hylink Australia, global teams and Asia-Pacific automotive clients.

Skills and Experience Required

* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Management, Commerce or a related discipline.

* Minimum 5 years of senior experience in sales and marketing management, preferably within the automotive industry.

* Strong background in automotive sales, dealer network management, brand marketing, customer growth or digital transformation.

* Proven experience working with vehicle manufacturers, distributors, dealer groups or automotive retail networks.

* Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, marketing plans, market-entry plans and business growth initiatives.

* Strong understanding of automotive consumer behaviour, dealer operations, lead generation and customer lifecycle management.

* Experience managing teams, budgets, stakeholders and commercial performance targets.

* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

* Strong analytical capability with experience using market data, sales performance data and customer insights to guide decision-making.

* Experience in multinational organisations or cross-border reporting environments will be highly regarded.

* Proficiency in Mandarin will be highly regarded due to Hylink’s Asia-Pacific client base and Chinese parent company.
