Principal - Corporate Sport

Marsh Risk

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Sport team at Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This is an opportunity to lead a Corporate Sport portfolio and work with a range of sporting and high-profile clients. You will help deliver tailored risk and insurance solutions, support new business growth and mentor junior brokers within the team.

We will count on you to

  • Lead client relationships across a portfolio of corporate sport accounts and support the growth and profitability of the book
  • Advise clients on risk exposures and develop practical insurance solutions based on their needs
  • Present market updates, premium movements and placement strategies to client stakeholders and board representatives
  • Work with Marsh placement and product specialists to deliver renewal and placement strategies in line with client instructions
  • Support new business development through client presentations, relationship building and tailored solutions
  • Mentor and support junior brokers and contribute to team capability and performance
  • Build connections with colleagues across the business as well as through events, conferences and client functions

What you need to have

  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial insurance or broking environment
  • Experience across group personal accident, liability, cyber, property, ISR and general insurance
  • An insurance broker qualification
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior executives
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, manage competing deadlines and handle multiple tasks
