About the role
The role contributes to the oversight and delivery of complex workforce projects, programs and strategic initiatives. This includes supporting the development of action plans relating to racism, inclusion and disability and leading their progress reporting and evaluation. The position also enhances programs and frameworks to ensure alignment with organisational priorities and regulatory requirements and works collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to support the delivery of workforce strategic priorities.
About you
You are an experienced human resource professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering strategic workforce initiatives that support organisational success. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant qualifications in human resources, or an equivalent combination of experience, expertise and education/training.
- Demonstrated human resource experience within a large and/or complex organisation, including workforce data analysis, reporting, and the effective use of HR systems.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate and deliver complex HR projects and programs, while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement cross-organisational initiatives, particularly in equity, diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
About People and Culture
The People and Culture team serves as the strategic enabler of UNE's high-performance culture, working collaboratively across Faculties and Directorates to empower staff, foster engagement and belonging, and ultimately enhance the student experience in alignment with institutional strategy.
