Join Unyte and play a key role in delivering one of Queensland's major renewable energy projects. We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our high-performing team on a large-scale Solar Farm project near Rockhampton.

This is a Queensland-based FIFO position. Applicants must be currently based in Queensland and available to work on a fly-in fly-out roster to the project site.

The role

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of this large-scale Solar Farm project, coordinating technical activities, managing quality, supporting project delivery, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget.

Working alongside experienced Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you'll gain exposure to major infrastructure delivery while developing your career within a growing business.

Your everyday

  • Produce and manage three-week look-ahead programs.
  • Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
  • Monitor productivity and project performance.
  • Assist with procurement, subcontractor management and contract administration.
  • Prepare project variations and commercial reporting.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes and documentation are maintained.
  • Lead by example in safety, conducting audits, inspections and risk management.
  • Manage RFIs, Inspection & Test Plans and project documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for someone who is motivated, proactive and ready to grow their career.

You'll ideally have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
  • Previous Site Engineer experience within civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and safety practices.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and construction management software.
