About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 2 Occupational Therapist with an interest in working in outpatient rehabilitation environments.

Our outpatient rehabilitation team consists of an Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, Allied Health Assistant, Exercise Physiologist and Physiotherapists. They work together supporting clients from Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Caroline Springs following neurological events to regain independence.

This role is 0.8 EFT (60.8hrs per fortnight) based at Melton.

The role is a fixed term, parental leave cover position from the 3rd of August 2026 until the 30th of July 2027.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be working as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical interventions that focus on optimising client function and independence to support clients to achieve their own individualised goals. You will be supported by an experienced Grade 3 clinician with regular supervision and access to professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and interventions to rehabilitation-based clients specifically upper limb therapy
  • Work in a multidisciplinary approach to care

About you

  • Will have full AHPRA registration
  • Will have experience working within rehabilitation settings
  • Will have highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Will have a passion for delivering high quality care working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
