Strategy and Transformation Manager - Flexible
Kinyara Health
Work options: Flexible
Kinyara Health is a business with a unique mission: to keep personal, local care alive for ageing Australians and people living with disability - helping individuals find their forever home care within one of our remarkable, community‑founded brands.
In the face of significant industry reform, we’ve doubled down on this commitment. As a result, Kinyara has grown at pace - expanding into the homes of more Australians, while staying true to the local care that defines us.
Kinyara is an investor-backed, fast-growing group, building a model that can scale with pace and discipline while maintaining strong local connection. Our operating model is distinctive: long‑established community businesses retain their local identity, supported by shared services and a technology-forward approach that strengthens capability and sustainability - without ever compromising client experience.
Through growth and transformation, we remain anchored to our purpose, quality standards and culture - supporting our teams to do meaningful work and deliver genuine impact for the people and communities we serve.
About The Role
Kinyara is entering its next phase of growth. As we continue to expand our reach and support more older Australians to live independently at home, we are investing in the systems, capabilities and ways of working needed to scale while maintaining the quality of care we provide.
The Strategy & Transformation team plays a central role in this, partnering with leaders across the business to solve complex challenges, deliver strategic initiatives and strengthen organisational capability.
As a Strategy & Transformation Manager, you will lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across the group. You will work across a diverse portfolio of challenges - from technology implementation and operating model redesign through to business performance improvement and shaping long-term strategic direction.
This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment, suited to someone who thrives on variety, is comfortable working in ambiguity and enjoys turning complex problems into practical, measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through to delivery and value realisation
- Partner with leaders to diagnose complex business challenges and develop practical, commercially grounded solutions
- Support strategic planning, including market analysis, growth opportunity identification and business case development
- Drive operating model improvements and embed scalable ways of working across the organisation
- Support acquisition activity, including due diligence and post-integration delivery as required
- Identify and deliver initiatives that improve business performance, efficiency and client outcomes
- Build trusted relationships across frontline teams, brand leaders and the executive, aligning stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- Translate strategy into execution, with clear links to measurable business value
There is a preference for Melbourne-based talent however we are open to candidates in Sydney or Adelaide.
About You
You are likely coming from a strategy consulting or high-growth environment, with experience working on complex, high-impact initiatives and seeing them through to execution. You're comfortable operating at pace, building structure where it doesn’t yet exist, and working across a range of problem spaces without losing momentum or quality.
You bring both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach to delivery, and are motivated by working in a scaling organisation where systems, capabilities and ways of working are still being built. You build trust quickly, navigate complexity with confidence, and are driven by work that creates tangible outcomes for both the business and the people it supports.
Our ideal candidate will also have:
- Experience in strategy consulting or a similarly rigorous environment, with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
- Experience working in a high-growth, scale-up or fast-paced organisation, with exposure to building or improving systems, processes or ways of working
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability, with experience developing business cases and evaluating strategic opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work across senior stakeholders, building alignment and driving outcomes without formal authority
- Strong communication skills, with experience preparing and presenting structured, senior-ready materials
- Exposure to data and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is advantageous
Additional requirements:
- Australian working rights.
- Driver licence
- Background check: NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Exposure to senior leaders, with direct access to decision-makers and the opportunity to influence how the organisation evolves
- A high-performing, collaborative environment that values learning, development and continuous improvement
- The pace, variety and visibility of a scaling organisation, with exposure to a broad range of strategic and operational challenges
- The opportunity to shape the systems, capabilities and ways of working that will underpin Kinyara’s next phase of growth
- A flat structure with high ownership, accountability and exposure beyond your immediate remit
