About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based assessment and intervention to NDIS participants and private clients with developmental, neurological, psychosocial, and physical support needs.
This is a flexible part-time position, with the opportunity to increase hours as your caseload grows.
You'll work across clinic, home, school, and community settings while collaborating with our experienced multidisciplinary team.
Your Responsibilities
As part of our team you will:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised therapy plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions supporting daily living skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing, social participation and independence
- Complete high-quality clinical documentation including progress notes, functional assessments, reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with families, carers, schools, support coordinators and other professionals
- Recommend assistive technology, environmental modifications and capacity-building supports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, supervision and professional development
- Contribute to the development of innovative therapy programs and group services
- Maintain professional and ethical practice in line with AHPRA and NDIS standards
About You
You'll have:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- A passion for person-centred practice
- The ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
