Project Engineer - Class 2 Residential

About the Role

I’m partnering with a well-established builder with a strong pipeline of class 2 residential project across Sydney. They are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team around Bankstown, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end project delivery, including the development and upkeep of construction programmes, sequencing, and project reporting.
• Manage RFIs, shop drawings, technical queries, and project documentation
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and support mitigation strategies
• Assist with QA processes, inspections, and compliance with project specifications and standards

Requirements

• 3–5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer in Class 2 residential projects
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, programming, and project coordination
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
• Experience with RFIs, QA systems, and subcontractor coordination
• Relevant construction qualifications (Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent)
