What’s the role?

You’ll lead 5 - 8 restaurants and ~200 Nandocas, creating environments where people grow, teams thrive, and customers feel the Nando’s magic.

You’re not on the sidelines - you’re in it. Out in restaurants, leading where it matters most, and owning your diary, your rhythm, and how you create impact. You’ll do this as part of a connected team of Area Managers, building a strong region together.

What you’ll be doing

This is a hands-on, talent-centric leadership role focused on growth, potential and real human impact.

You’ll:

  • Build high-performing, engaged teams

  • Develop future leaders from within (our best leaders are grown, not hired)

  • Coach and support Restaurant Managers to lift capability and confidence

  • Support Recruitment and drive talent, succession and internal development, building strong bench strength for the future

  • Drive culture, performance and consistency across your area

  • Work as part of a collaborative team of Area Managers, sharing ideas and building a strong region together

  • Partner closely with your People Partner and Regional General Manager to drive alignment and momentum in restaurants

  • Lead across customer, people, safety, operations, sales and profit outcomes

  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, grow sales and strengthen your area

  • Bring energy and the Nando’s spirit into key moments, events and leadership experiences
