Are you an experienced early childhood leader looking for your next opportunity? St Cecilia's Long Day Care and Kindergarten is seeking a passionate Centre Director to lead our welcoming 49-place boutique service in the heart of Hamilton. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a centre where children, families and educators are known, valued and supported.

Set within a beautiful home-like environment featuring high ceilings, timber floors and French doors, our centre offers well-resourced learning spaces, expansive outdoor play areas, a mud kitchen, vegetable garden and fresh meals prepared daily by our on-site cook. We are proud of our strong community connections, including our partnership with Hamilton State School and established kindergarten transition program.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program
• Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Child Protection Training
• Willingness to undertake the role of Nominated Supervisor
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)
• Previous experience managing an early childhood education and care service
• Strong leadership, team development and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and childcare management software (Xplor experience highly regarded)
