We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Finance Administration Officer to join our Information Technology team, based at our Head Office in Perth CBD. Reporting to the IT Procurement & Finance Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the Group IT function.

You will play a key role in ensuring IT financial processes are accurate, timely and well controlled. Working closely with IT, Finance, Accounts Payable and vendors, you will support month-end activities, cost allocation and recharge processes, helping to maintain accurate financial records and support the effective financial management of technology spend across NRW Holdings and its subsidiaries.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:

  • Experience in finance administration, accounts payable or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of invoice processing, receipting and reconciliations
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines, particularly during month-end periods
  • Intermediate Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Exposure to recharge or cost allocation processes (desirable)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. D365) (desirable)

As an IT Finance Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing critical month-end support, including accrual preparation, tracking un-invoiced goods and services, and ensuring IT costs are accurately captured within reporting timeframes
  • Supporting and maintaining the monthly IT recharge process, ensuring costs are accurately allocated across business units
  • Validating and reconciling cost allocation data, including IT assets, software licensing and service-based charges
  • Preparing and reviewing recharge supporting documentation, investigating and resolving discrepancies prior to processing
  • Reconciling IT invoices, purchase orders, supplier statements and recurring IT costs, including software, telecommunications and managed services
  • Processing and receipting IT invoices, ensuring accuracy, timely approvals and adherence to payment terms
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies through liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing and reconciling IT credit card transactions, ensuring correct coding, timing and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate, audit-ready financial records to support reconciliation, reporting and governance requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing month-end efficiency, recharge accuracy and financial process automation
