As ou r Recruitment & HR Administrato r, you'll provide vital administrative support across recruitment and HR for the Catholic Education Office and our school leadership teams. You'll be assisting hiring managers at each stage of the recruitment process, including raising requisitions, preparing documentation, coordinating interviews, and processing employment contracts. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Officer, you'll work closely with hiring managers, school leaders and teams across Catholic Education NT

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across the recruitment and HR function
  • Coordinate recruitment activities within the HR (TechOne) system
  • Advertise and promote job vacancies across job boards
  • Maintain and update employee records, including creating position codes
  • Support school leaders and staff with Onboarding queries, in consultation with the Talent Acquisition Officer
  • Draft employment contracts, circulars, and maintain registers
  • Help manage candidate experience through the recruitment process
  • Prepare HR correspondence, increment letters and contract variations in consultation with the HR Manager
  • Assist with the on / off boarding of staff, including exit surveys and record-keeping
  • Maintain HR databases, generate reports, and extract data for management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as directed

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 or more years' experience in recruitment admin
  • Has used recruitment or HR systems before
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbally
  • Handles sensitive information with discretion
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and providing great service
  • Is comfortable using technology like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Holds a current NT Working with Children Clearance, or eligible to apply
  • Understands and supports the ethos of Catholic education
  • Has valid Australian work rights through citizenship, PR, or an appropriate work visa

Desirable but not essential

  • Experience working in the education sector or similar compliance-driven environment
  • Familiarity with TechnologyOne and serviceNow or similar systems
  • Has a Certificate in HR, Business Administration or similar
