ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.

The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver (Semi Truck) to support the transport and delivery of materials, plant and equipment across project laydown and construction sites.

This is a remote project position operating on a 14 days on / 7 days off roster. Bus transport is currently provided from Sydney only, with various pick-up and drop-off locations between Sydney and the Mudgee region.

Applicants located within NSW outside the Sydney transport route will be required to DIDO (Drive In Drive Out) at their own expense. Please note this is not a FIFO role, and candidates residing outside NSW will be required to arrange and fund their own travel to Sydney or the site if successful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating HC vehicles to transport materials and equipment
  • Supporting laydown yard and site logistics operations
  • Loading and unloading plant, tools and construction materials
  • Ensuring safe securing and delivery of loads across multiple sites
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
  • Working closely with site and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules
  • Maintaining compliance with road, site and safety requirements

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Valid HC (Heavy Combination) licence essential
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ truck driving experience (civil construction desirable)
  • Experience in construction or project logistics highly regarded
  • Strong commitment to safety and load restraint compliance
  • White Card preferred
  • Ability to work remote roster-based project environments
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
