About the Role

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Control Room Operator for a casual position based in Broadmeadows at a leading pharmaceutical site.

This role is suited to a confident operator with at least two years’ experience, capable of managing CCTV, access control, incidents, and communications in a high-risk, fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining site safety, accuracy, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage CCTV systems with precision
  • Assess and respond to security risks in real time
  • Coordinate emergency responses and liaise with stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate incident reports, logs, and visitor records
  • Manage access control for staff, visitors, and contractors
  • Operate two-way radio systems and deploy security personnel
  • Participate in training and simulation exercises

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a control room environment
  • Current Security Licence with Control Room endorsement
  • Strong admin skills and computer literacy
  • Experience in high-pressure environments and fire panel systems
  • Proficiency in Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, PassagePoint (or similar)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • ASIC Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Hepatitis B & Influenza certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
