We’re seeking a Work Pack Preparer to support offshore LNG assets. If you come from a Mechanical background and looking to trade your FIFO roster for a Perth based role, then this could be your next move.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our client’s planning, maintenance and execution teams to ensure all mechanical work is fully ready for execution before it reaches the offshore environment. You’ll play a key part in permit readiness, isolation verification, risk identification, and multi-discipline coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface between major maintenance planning and execution to gather required information and prepare Mechanical permits, permit templates and work instructions
  • Support preparation of a permit hierarchy for the major maintenance activity
  • Identify and communicate risks to permit readiness, isolation requirements, material availability or work sequencing
  • Collaborate across Mechanical, Instrument/Electrical and Coatings teams to support coordinated, multi-discipline scopes
  • Identify permit template opportunities for PM and repeatable CM tasks

What you’ll bring

  • Mechanical trade or engineering qualification
  • Knowledge and experience working in an onshore or offshore maintenance environment
  • Strong understanding of isolation boundaries, flange systems, mechanical components and associated work processes
  • Exposure to static and rotating equipment (vessels, generators, boilers, off-take equipment)
  • Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP system
  • Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
