About the role

Nurse Pool combines the stability of permanent employment, with the opportunity to develop and expand your skills by working across a variety of specialties and departments instead of just the one ward. Eastern Health Pool nurses are contracted to an agreed EFT and provided with roster in advance, the area/ward of work is communicated prior to the shift start. You will join a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team who partner to provide the best possible care for our patients. About you

As a Registered or Enrolled Nurse, your skills and experience will include:

Current, condition-free registration with AHPRA

Minimum 2 years working experience in an Australian hospital setting (not including placements)

Ability to work a rotating roster including AM, PM and night shifts

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills

Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing patient focused care

Active engagement in continued professional and career development

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
