Risk Strategy & Culture Lead
P&N Bank
Where you’ll add value
You’ll take ownership of how the enterprise risk strategy is delivered in practice. This role sits close to the CRO and works across the business to turn a broad uplift agenda into clear, executable outcomes.
You’ll be hands-on in shaping and driving change, with a clear mandate to improve how risk is embedded day to day. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and can be based in Perth, Brisbane or Coffs Harbour.
Responsibilities include:
- Drive delivery of the enterprise risk strategy, ensuring initiatives stay aligned and outcomes are realised
- Coordinate a portfolio of uplift activities, keeping dependencies clear and progress visible
- Simplify existing frameworks and processes so they are easier to understand and apply
- Lift the quality of risk reporting so it supports real decision-making rather than just governance
- Build a more joined-up approach to assurance, reducing duplication and improving visibility of control effectiveness
- Support improvements to risk systems and underlying data so information is more accessible and reliable
- Lead practical initiatives that strengthen risk culture and clarify accountability across teams
- Work directly with stakeholders to embed better risk practices into day-to-day operations
What sets you up for success
- Experience in enterprise risk within financial services
- Exposure to risk uplift, transformation, or change delivery
- Strong program or project coordination capability
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear, concise communication
- Practical, delivery-focused mindset
- Relevant qualification in risk, finance, business or similar
