Product Owner

TechnologyOne is looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy and delivery of T1 Pay & Income Management. In this role, you'll represent the voice of the customer, shaping a market-leading payments and income management experience for both our customers and their end users.

T1 Pay is TechnologyOne's white-labelled payments platform, embedded across our SaaS ERP solution. It helps organisations across Higher Education, Local Government and Government simplify how they collect, manage and reconcile payments.

You'll lead a team of Product Business Analysts, owning a prioritised product backlog and ensuring customer needs drive product decisions. Working closely with the Product Success Director, you'll also build and develop a high-performing team while fostering a strong customer community that encourages product adoption and delivers better business outcomes.

What you'll be doing…

• You will serve as the SME for T1 Pay and Income Management, helping bring the product strategy and roadmap to life across payments, payment plans and collections capabilities. You will work closely with customers and early adopters to deliver seamless online payment experiences, flexible payment options, and intelligent collections that improve revenue capture and reduce bad debt.
• You will focus on streamlining the end-to-end order-to-receipt journey through deep integration across the TechnologyOne ecosystem. Working closely with Product Owners across Financials, Customer Hub, Guide, Property & Rating and Student Management, you will help deliver seamless customer experiences that meet business objectives and reduce reliance on third-party payment providers.
• You will serve as the SME for assigned products and collaborate closely with the development team to deliver features, enhancements and quality initiatives that provide maximum business value to our customers. You will have a strong focus on continuous improvement, ensuring your team provides clear and actionable development tasks in line with your prioritised backlog. You will drive the development team forward by proactively addressing questions, fostering innovation and balancing competing priorities to keep development work on track and of high quality.
• Leadership responsibilities include fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement. You will be responsible for guiding resource allocation to meet development timelines and fostering a 'People are Our Power' culture across the T1 Pay & Income Management Product Team. You will develop and empower your own team members by supporting them to achieve their goals, providing constructive feedback to improve their performance and help define expectations to ensure their goals align with the team's overall objectives.

Your Talents…

• Product Owner or Business Analyst experience with exposure to payments, receivables or income management - ideally with touch points across one or more of: online payments and digital payer experiences, payment plans, direct debit, collections, reconciliation, or merchant onboarding.
• Exceptional communication capability to drive high quality engagement with stakeholders, present at customer events, develop enablement content and facilitate feedback forums.
• Participate and drive continuous improvement processes, ensuring compliance with best practice R&D guidelines including KPIs and initiatives set by the wider business.
• Leadership capability, empowering the team to build a collective sense of ownership and accountability to deliver high-quality standards of work.
