This is not a strategy seat at altitude. It is a leadership seat for an operator who still closes. The business has strong demand, a product people stay with, and marketing that performs. What it needs now is someone to take hold of the conversion engine, lift it, and build the structure and bench to scale it with confidence.
The model
Marketing creates the demand. Sales converts and compounds it, because every close starts a recurring relationship, not a one-off sale. Growth here is a system of levers: speed to lead, talk time, show rates, close rates, closer capacity and renewals. The leader's job is knowing which lever moves which number, and pulling it. If that reads as instinct rather than jargon to you, keep going.
What you will own
You will own the full setter-and-closer operation end-to-end, with the CRM as your single source of truth: hands-on, every number you report standing up to scrutiny. You will run a daily accountability cadence that the team actually follows, lifting speed-to-lead, talk time, and show rates to standard and holding them there. You will grow and train the closer bench by demonstration rather than theory, and build the structure and systems the business scales into. And you will keep a live spot on the closing calendar, because you still sell.
Who we are looking for
A player-coach: senior enough to lead and build, but someone who has never stopped closing and would not want to. You have run a high-ticket sales floor and made it convert, and you have built team and structure rather than inherited it. You think in funnels and levers, you live in the CRM, and you lead from the front by picking up the phone alongside your team.
You are likely to come from a subscription, membership, app-based or high-ticket coaching environment, where the end buyer is the individual and the relationship recurs. You know this space can attract low-calibre operators, and you are the opposite of that. Character carries as much weight here as capability.
Non-negotiables
Subscription or recurring-revenue conversion experience, with deep hands-on CRM ownership and a track record of building team and structure rather than running an existing one. Still on the tools: part of the closing calendar, training setters and closers by demonstration. A daily accountability operator, data and lever driven, with genuine alignment to the mission, screened in work and in life, and the owner mentality to back a 3 to 5 year runway.
