This is a rare BDM opportunity inside a fully-funded cyber insurance scale-up moving from product build into commercial launch. With strong industry relationships, international insurance backing and multiple market channels to test, this role suits someone hungry, commercial and ready to make a visible impact.
Who you will be working with
You will join an early-stage cyber and insurance technology business that has spent the past three years building its platform, developing industry relationships and preparing for launch.
The business has a strong partnership with an international insurance company and is now focused on user growth, channel validation and proving the strongest commercial path before scaling around it. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the founders and senior leaders, validate which customer channels are most effective and help build the sales function around what works.
The platform can apply across a wide range of industries, from small businesses through to enterprise environments where cyber risk, customer data, compliance and insurance are becoming major priorities.

Duties and responsibilities include
- Identify and validate the strongest commercial channels across brokers, MSPs, enterprise supply chains and direct customers
- Prospect new opportunities and manage the end-to-end sales process from first conversation through to close
- Demonstrate the platform and articulate the value across cyber protection, insurance readiness and compliance
- Build relationships with brokerages, MSPs, industry partners and potential enterprise customers
- Map target markets, test sales messaging and provide feedback on what is converting
- Drive user growth and help shape the future sales function as the business scales
We are looking for someone with
- 3-6 years of sales or business development experience, ideally across more than one industry
- Confidence running a sales process independently, from prospecting through to signing new customers
- Hunger, ambition and the maturity to operate in a scale-up environment
- Experience selling into regulated, data-heavy or compliance-driven industries
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to test, learn and validate new markets
- Exposure to industries such as accounting, medical, transport, mortgage broking, insurance, cyber, technology or professional services would be highly relevant
