As part of Nine Publishing, you will join the home of Australia’s premier news mastheads, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, Brisbane Times, and WAtoday.

Are you a strategic sales leader ready to drive high-margin growth during a period of double-digit, year-on-year expansion? Reporting to the Director of Business Subscriptions & AI Monetisation, you will lead Nine Publishing's B2B account acquisition strategy, managing a complex product suite that includes data and content integrations. In this pivotal management role, you will champion high-yield corporate sales and mentor a high-performing team to expand our market footprint across corporate and institutional sectors.

Day To Day You Will

  • Lead the B2B account acquisition strategy to expand our client base across key sectors.
  • Drive high-yield corporate sales and execute tactics to hit aggressive growth targets.
  • Negotiate complex, high-value contracts directly with C-suite executives at global firms.
  • Manage, mentor, and provide commercial leadership to a dedicated sales team.
  • Own sales pipeline forecasting and reporting utilizing Salesforce for clear business visibility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and licensing heads to align strategies.

What You'll Bring

  • Prior experience in a sales management or lead role with a proven ability to mentor teams.
  • A successful track record of closing high-value, multi-figure complex corporate contracts.
  • Deep expertise within B2B sales and SaaS business models featuring long sales cycles.
  • Technical proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline and forecasting management.
  • Strong commercial acumen to handle sophisticated data and content integration suites.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage confidently with senior external stakeholders.
