We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to take ownership of a busy AP function supporting a well-established, values-driven organisation with multiple sites across Western Australia.

This is more than just processing invoices. You'll lead a team, improve workflows, strengthen financial controls and work closely with Finance leaders to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

You'll oversee the day-to-day accounts payable operation, including:

Leading, mentoring and developing a team of four Accounts Payable Officers
Managing invoice processing, supplier payments and payment runs
Ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, financial controls and delegated authorities
Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving payment issues
Working closely with Finance, Treasury and business stakeholders across multiple locations
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve systems
Supporting month-end activities and maintaining high-quality financial data

You'll likely bring

Experience leading an Accounts Payable team or supervising a high-volume AP function
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations and payment workflows
A solid understanding of financial controls and governance
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
Confidence using finance systems and Excel
