About The Role
Perth Airport is seeking a Training Business Partner, to play a key role in supporting the safety, capability and success of our people and operations. Working within the Work Health & Safety team and reporting to the Head of Training, you will develop, deliver and administer a portfolio of skills-based training programs, frameworks and processes across the airport estate.
This is a hands-on and collaborative role where you will partner with teams across the business to understand training needs, deliver fit-for-purpose learning solutions and ensure training programs remain effective, compliant and aligned to operational requirements.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Lead the development, implementation and delivery of training and assessment for Perth Airport employees.
- Oversee and facilitate Perth Airport’s internal training portfolio, aligned to departmental requirements and training needs analyses.
- Design, develop and implement end-to-end training programs and resources, including eLearning, PowerPoint, training and assessment materials.
- Provide coaching and support to workplace trainers and safety leaders.
- Develop, administer and apply training frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure appropriate document control across training materials, templates, policies and procedures.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on training compliance, effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present training statistics and slide decks for meetings and compliance purposes.
- Support training-related change management activity and internal training projects.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across operational teams, leaders, contractors, tenants and airport partners.
- Promote a positive safety culture and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of training functions at Perth Airport.
About You
You are a confident training professional who knows how to build capability, create practical learning solutions and support safe, compliant operations.
Collaborative, organised and hands-on, you will be comfortable partnering with stakeholders across the business and bringing training programs to life in a dynamic operational environment.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116
- Airport operations experience is highly desirable
- Experienced in developing, delivering and administering training programs.
- Skilled in eLearning, training resources, assessment materials and learning systems.
- Confident using LMS platforms, Articulate and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communicator who builds trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Passionate about learning, continuous improvement and positive safety outcomes.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
