Systems Safety Engineer (senior)

Systems Safety Engineers exercise technical knowledge within and across specialist disciplines, and with the ability to work under general direction to apply strategic alignment for the product and its plan. Adherence to governance and standards and interacting with people in cross functional teams to achieve business outcomes with the appropriate levels of integrity, safety, and ethics of these designs is critical to the role.

Specific Functions & Tasks

• Conduct the systems engineering review process for the whole product development lifecycle.
• Support the configuration control of systems for program milestone reviews.
• Develop verification and validation plans and ensure capture of analysis and test results allowing sign-off of requirements.
• Engage key stakeholders and SME's across technical engineering and specialty areas such as Systems Safety / Human Factors / Reliability Availability Maintainability / Electromagnetic Environmental Effects to develop effective solutions.
• Development of systems safety engineering documentation and artefacts.
• Contribute to the development of engineering designs and decisions.
