About the role

As a Marketing Officer at LLL, you will immerse yourself in a diverse range of marketing activities designed to strengthen brand engagement across multiple channels. This is a hands-on, execution-focused marketing role where you'll play a key part in bringing strategy to life.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating with colleagues from different departments as well as third-party providers to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with both existing customers and new audiences.

You will have the opportunity to highlight LLL's mission-driven work-whether through digital content creation or by supporting events that bring the community together. By leveraging your analytical skills alongside your creative flair, you will help ensure every initiative not only aligns with organisational objectives but also delivers measurable results. Your ability to gather insights from data will be crucial in refining strategies for maximum effectiveness.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team, you will:

  • Deliver marketing initiatives across digital, print and events to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Support the execution of marketing strategies aligned to LLL's mission and audience
  • Plan and manage organic and paid campaigns to support business objectives
  • Create engaging content across social, web and print, including copy, design and video
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform campaigns and identify opportunities
  • Support events and capture content that showcases LLL's impact and story
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral aligned with brand guidelines
  • Track campaign performance, report on KPIs and optimise for ROI
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging
  • Gather stakeholder feedback to continuously improve marketing activity

What you bring

You're an experienced marketing professional with a strong track record delivering multi-channel campaigns, ideally in a purpose-led or community-focused environment.

You create engaging content across digital and print, with a good eye for design and brand consistency. You're collaborative, organised, and able to manage competing priorities, while building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Above all, you bring a genuine interest in working within a values-driven organisation and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

Key skills & experience

  • Experience in a marketing role (Marketing Officer/Assistant or similar)
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing across digital channels
  • Social media, SEO, analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and CRM exposure
  • Excellent copywriting, storytelling and content creation skills
  • Design capability (Adobe Suite, Canva or similar) + basic video editing
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in not-for-profit or community sector (desirable)
  • Marketing degree or equivalent experience (advantageous, not essential)
