Payroll Officer - $90,000 Super - WFH 2 Days p/w - Adelaide or Sydney

An award-winning, dynamic and growing FMCG organisation with a super cool lifestyle brand, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join its payroll function on an initial six month contract in Adelaide or Sydney (Both Inner West Subs).
This would suit a payroll professional with 3 years end to end payroll experiencing who is a people person, reliable, detail-focused. Ideally they are looking for Chris 21 experience but if you don't have that it's a rare opportunity to be trained on this highly sort after payroll system!

NUTS & BOLTS
- Deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll processing in line with established payroll schedules
- Interpret and apply awards, enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and National Employment Standards
- Maintain payroll data accuracy across Chris21 and associated time and attendance systems
- Provide backup support to the Payroll Manager to ensure continuity of payroll delivery
- Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees and managers in a professional and timely manner
- Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance requirements
- Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing within an award-based environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance obligations
- Experience using payroll systems such as Chris21 (Chris not essential but advantageous)
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
- A practical, collaborative approach with clear communication skills
