About The Role
The Asset System Specialist plays a crucial role within the Strategic Asset Management Unit, focusing on the effective management of Council's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).
You will be responsible for ensuring that the system supports essential asset management functions, including maintenance management, asset valuation, strategic asset management, and corporate reporting.
This position offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimising asset performance, minimising lifecycle costs, and maximising benefits for the community through data-informed decision-making.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a qualified professional who possesses a strong background in asset management systems and infrastructure assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and community service.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management, information technology, data science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the development and management of corporate asset management systems.
- Strong project and time management skills for delivering quality outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
As part of your role, you will engage in the analysis of asset information, develop methodologies for data collection, and provide training and documentation related to the EAMS. Your ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders will be essential in driving asset management improvements.

- Package: $107,476-$119,782 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
