The Role

Working closely with the Head of Development, you'll help shape technical direction, champion engineering best practices, and play a key role in delivering a product roadmap with real momentum. You'll split your time between building polished, high-quality features and collaborating with Product and Design to turn evolving ideas into exceptional customer experiences, all while mentoring those around you and raising the bar for the team.

The Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test and maintain features across frontend and backend systems

  • Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions that support scalability, performance and security

  • Champion clean, maintainable code, testing and engineering best practices

  • Build fast, responsive and accessible experiences with a strong focus on quality

  • Collaborate with Product and Design to turn wireframes, prototypes and evolving ideas into polished customer experiences

  • Mentor and support developers through collaboration, code reviews and knowledge sharing

  • Improve platform architecture, tooling, CI/CD pipelines and development processes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer or Lead Developer

  • Strong full stack capability with advanced frontend expertise — React and/or Vue (mandatory); PHP & Laravel (advantageous)

  • Experience building polished customer-facing SaaS, marketplace or eCommerce applications

  • A strong eye for UX and UI, with the ability to transform wireframes and prototypes into exceptional user journeys

  • Experience mentoring developers and contributing to a high-performing engineering culture

  • Comfortable making technical decisions, taking ownership, and balancing quality with delivery

  • Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Bonus: experience building AI-powered features or integrating LLMs into customer-facing products
