Duty Supervisor (Aquatic Centre)

Part-time (15 hours per week, worked Monday to Sunday)
About the role
We are looking for people with experience in working as a duty supervisor and managing lifeguards. You will love interacting with members, patrons, staff and the wider community, promoting the Aquatic Centre as a safe and fun environment for everyone. Knowledgeable about aquatic emergency and evacuation procedures and experienced with life support equipment, you are able to remain calm during stressful situations. You are an excellent communicator and have well developed interpersonal skills.
You must possess a current Pool Operators Certificate, LIWA Accreditation, Pool Lifeguard Certificate and up to date Provide First Aid Certificate.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Proficient in performing water tests, maintaining water quality and following relevant Health Department Regulations
- Ability to provide guidance, advice and training to staff, when required
- Ability to resolve minor problems with patrons, employees and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a customer-focused team
We are offering a gross salary of $77,854 per annum (pro-rata)
