Join Our Team at St Mary's Long Day Care & Kindergarten, Upper Coomera!
At St Mary's, children are given the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive as part of a supportive and welcoming community. We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Full-Time Educator to join our team in a permanent 38-hour per week role.
Conveniently located at Assisi College, we provide care and education for children from six weeks of age and offer a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program for children in the year before Prep, catering for up to 59 children. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified educator, or someone actively working towards their qualification, who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a fun, engaging, and caring environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with children to create fun, recreational, and educational experiences that support their wellbeing
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy
- Participate in ongoing professional and personal development
- Play a pivotal role in developing children's lifelong love of learning
- Build strong rapport with families, educators, and the wider community
- Hold (or are actively working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent — please note a qualification or enrolment in one is essential for this role
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten age in a play-based learning environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to complete Child Protection Training as required
