  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items for prioritised features
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications
  • Support product roadmap development and assist in backlog prioritisation, including defect management
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and SMEs to ensure aligned understanding and successful delivery
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to explore solutions and drive consensus on scope and outcomes
  • Validate solutions across the delivery lifecycle, including UAT, regression, and production verification testing
  • Analyse and ensure data accuracy, transformation logic, and reporting outputs
  • Support client onboarding, ensuring smooth implementation and continuous process improvement
  • Work with Operations and Client Support teams to investigate issues and prioritise resolutions
  • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including clients and vendors
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services or fintech
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, data analysis, and reporting
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)
  • Solid knowledge of business analysis frameworks and methodologies (e.g. BABOK)
  • Demonstrated experience creating user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with attention to detail
