Are you passionate about working with children and interested in gymnastics? We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to support our thriving gymnastics program and gain valuable experience in a fun, supportive environment.
About The Role
As a Volunteer Gymnastics Assistant Coach, you will support the delivery of gymnastics classes by assisting coaches and encouraging participants in their learning. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your skills while contributing to a safe, welcoming and positive environment for all participants.
Our program caters to nearly 1000 participants ranging from 8 weeks through to adults. In this role, you’ll primarily assist classes for children aged 4–16 years while working alongside experienced coaches and team leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist coaches by supporting and encouraging participants (without delivering direct instruction)
- Work collaboratively with coaches, supervisors and the Gymnastics Team Leader
- Follow directions, policies and safe work practices
- Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive class environment

Volunteer Commitment
Volunteer shifts may include afternoons, evenings and weekends, with many classes running between 4:00pm – 6:00pm weekdays and 10am - 2pm Saturday
About You
You are positive, reliable and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in working with children and sport. You enjoy being part of a team and contributing to a fun, inclusive environment.
