About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a strategic and practical professional to contribute to Council’s corporate planning within the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) framework.
As a Corporate Planner, you will:
- Lead and support a coordinated, high-quality approach to planning and reporting
- Work across teams to identify improvement opportunities and deliver practical solutions
- Help embed a culture of innovation, performance, and service excellence
- Influence organisational outcomes while driving continuous improvement for the community
About You
You’re a strategic thinker who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering meaningful outcomes. You bring experience in corporate planning or development and are confident working with data, translating insights into actionable solutions.
You will thrive in this role if you:

- Are comfortable navigating complex environments
- Can balance competing priorities while staying outcomes-focused
- Have strong influencing and communication skills
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Business, Finance, Arts, Communications) or equivalent experience
- Experience in corporate planning, policy development, and governance (ideally within local government)
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform planning and decision-making
- Proven ability to develop, monitor, and report on performance indicators
- Excellent written communication, reporting, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of corporate planning/reporting systems and IP&R requirements (NSW Local Government Act 1993)
Your commencing annual salary will range from $102,651.30 - $116,338.14 + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
