About the role
Council's Landscape Architecture Team is a creative, fast paced and well respected team who are highly regarded for excellence in open space design, environmental design, foreshore design, cycleways, urban parks, streetscapes and town centres.
The successful candidate will undertake design and documentation tasks under the guidance of the Supervisor of Landscape Architecture. This position would suit an enthusiastic and capable person who has a great interest in designing and documenting projects for construction.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $104,610.61 to 115,174.86 plus 12% superannuation.

About You
The successful applicant must be self-motivated, flexible with competing tasks, willing to assist at all project levels, have a strong work ethic, well developed graphic communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively and positively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Selection Criteria:
- A demonstrated level of competency in AutoCAD / VectorWorks
- Working knowledge of Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are considered desirable;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent interpersonal, written and graphic communication skills;
- An awareness of design documentation and detailing, suitable for construction; Work proactively in a team environment
To be considered for this role, you must meet the essential requirements in the Position Description, including the below Qualifications/Licences:
- Recognised degree qualification in Landscape Architecture and eligible to be a member of the national Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA), albeit membership is not a requirement. Class ‘C’ Driver’s Licence
