Collections Officer- Grocery

We’re hiring a Collections Officer to join our high-performing Grocery Credit team! Step into a role where you’ll own end-to-end collections across major grocery accounts, playing a critical part in protecting cash flow, resolving complex payment issues, and driving strong customer outcomes. You’ll be at the centre of a fast-paced, high-value portfolio, partnering with key stakeholders while balancing strong credit control with exceptional service. This is a great opportunity to build your expertise across reconciliations, deductions, EDI and retailer portals, all within a collaborative team that genuinely supports growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collections for assigned grocery accounts, ensuring timely cash application and accurate reconciliations

• Proactively reduce overdue balances and maintain AR aging targets, resolving issues through retailer portals

• Investigate and resolve EDI invoice delivery errors and deduction queries promptly

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to queries and building strong stakeholder relationships

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements

About You

• Experience in Credit & Collections or Accounts Receivable within FMCG or a similar high-volume environment

• Strong reconciliation skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and retailer portals preferred

• Knowledge of EDI invoicing and ability to resolve errors effectively.

• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Collaborative team player with a focus on accuracy, continuous improvement, and customer service
