The Opportunity

KBR is expanding its presence across Australia’s Defence sector and growing its Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) capability to support a strong pipeline of current and future programs.

We are seeking experienced and motivated ILS professionals who are passionate about enabling complex Defence capability and contributing to meaningful, nationally significant outcomes. These opportunities span multiple Defence domains, including Maritime, Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO), Electronic Warfare, and Land. You will have the opportunity to support programs across the full capability lifecycle—from acquisition and introduction into service through to sustainment and ongoing operational readiness.

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation where your expertise will help shape the delivery and sustainment of critical Defence capability. Most roles are based in Melbourne or Canberra and require onsite presence. Applicants must be located in, or willing to relocate to, these locations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) outcomes across diverse programs and capability environments.
  • Support capability lifecycle activities, including introduction into service, transition to sustainment, and ongoing support
  • Contribute to Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), training development, maintenance planning, and sustainment activities.
  • Manage logistics, asset and inventory activities using Defence and industry systems (e.g. MILIS, SAP, ERP platforms).
  • Support governance activities including codification, cataloguing, stocktaking, and compliance with Defence frameworks.
  • Provide logistics support across a variety of technical and operational environments, including communications, ICT, and deployable systems where applicable.
  • Engage and collaborate with Defence and industry stakeholders to ensure effective delivery outcomes across programs and domains.
  • Deliver Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) outcomes across a range of Defence programs and capability environments.
  • Support capability lifecycle activities including introduction into service, transition to sustainment, and ongoing in-service support.
  • Contribute to Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), maintenance planning, training development, and sustainment planning activities.
  • Manage logistics, asset, and inventory data using Defence and industry systems (e.g. MILIS, SAP, ERP platforms).
  • Support governance requirements including codification, cataloguing, stock management, stocktaking, and compliance with Defence frameworks.
  • Provide logistics support across technical and operational environments, including communications, ICT, and deployable systems where applicable.
  • Engage and collaborate with Defence and industry stakeholders to enable effective delivery outcomes across programs and domains.

As the ideal candidate you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) within Defence or comparable industries.
  • Strong understanding of ILS principles and experience supporting complex systems across the capability lifecycle.
  • Experience with logistics, asset management, or enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, ERP, MILIS or similar).
  • Knowledge of Defence logistics and procurement frameworks (e.g. DEFLOGMAN, ESCM, CPRs, DPPM) is desirable.
  • Proven experience delivering Integrated Logistics Support outcomes for C4I capabilities within Defence environments.
  • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in technical environments (e.g. communications, ICT, aerospace, or Land systems) or specialised areas such as cryptographic handling is advantageous but not essential.
  • Must have an active Baseline or NV1 security clearance and be an Australian citizen to be eligible to apply.
