What will you be responsible for?

This role sits within the Group Sales team, focusing on foundU and reports directly to the Sales Director. Here's what your days will look like:

• Build and own a high-impact pipeline - proactively hunting, qualifying, and advancing new business opportunities across the SME market
• Deliver compelling platform demos and tailored presentations that speak directly to each prospect's pain points
• Self-generate a meaningful portion of your own leads - this is a hunter role, not an order-taker gig
• Craft sharp proposals, pricing models, and contracts that are commercially sound and customer-focused
• Represent foundU at industry events, webinars, and trade shows - building your network and elevating our brand
• Feed insights and market intelligence back to the team, helping shape go-to-market strategy across foundU and the wider Citation Group

Who we’re looking for

You're the kind of person who doesn't wait to be told what to do - you see a gap in the market and go after it. Beyond that, here's what will set you up for success:

• 5-10 years' BDM experience; we'll consider 3+ years for candidates coming from payroll or HR tech
• Background in SaaS or tech sales is a must - payroll or HR tech experience is a bonus
• Salesforce proficiency is essential; HubSpot experience is a nice-to-have
• A proven hunter mentality - you're self-sufficient, target-driven, and thrive on new business
• Consultative seller who digs deep, earns trust, and positions the right solution for each client
• Comfortable engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers to close complex deals
