Building Services Supervisor

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Building Services Supervisor. Join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in managing and supervising building services including renovations, alterations, extensions, improvements or repairs of a building being undertaken by sub-contractors, ensuring these are completed to required industry regulations. Reporting to the Procurement & Subcontractor Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Supervise planned works, defect rectification, and technical service delivery across tenanted and vacant properties.
- Drive safety and compliance - conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations while ensuring adherence to OH&S requirements.
- Validate scopes, perform site inspections, and enforce compliance with NCC, Australian Standards, and contract specifications.
- Manage subcontractor performance - provide clear direction, monitor delivery partner performance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Deliver on time and build client relationships - manage work orders, identify risks early, and act as a key client contact to support strong, collaborative outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- Hold a relevant Trade License or suitable practical experience.
- Registered Building Practitioner under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 (WA)
- Experience in management and supervision of general building services.
- Knowledge of work planning and scheduling procedures.
- Full understanding of OH&S regulations.
- Familiarity and understanding of domestic building statutory obligations, codes of practice, Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.
