About the Role
Radiology Victoria (RV) is seeking suitably qualified candidates for the role of Commercial Development Manager. This new position will play a key role in supporting revenue growth, brand awareness, and enhanced patient experience across Radiology Victoria.
Working closely with operations and clinical teams and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role collaborates across departments and sites to implement strategic marketing initiatives, strengthen referrer relationships, support site-level business development activities and projects that support the growth of the Radiology Victoria business. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to achieve business objectives and deliver outstanding service outcomes.
The key areas you will be responsible for include:
- Identifying ways to grow and develop the business through leveraging patient and referrer relationships and feedback, identifying opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Provide oversight and management of key projects that support the growth of the business including operational projects, greenfield sites or brownfield growth
- Building and implementing systems to develop strong, professional relationships with referring doctors, practice managers, and other referrer-related stakeholders.
- Driving business in alignment with the goals and needs of the managing radiologists and practice managers.
- In conjunction with operations team, planning and roll out new clinic marketing strategies, including referrer engagement, social and print media
- Managing relationships with hospitals and other external stakeholders
- Leading a small, dedicated Business Development team
About You
The leader we are looking for will have:
- An in-depth understanding of private healthcare services and commercial acumen
- Demonstrated experience in successfully project managing new services to market
- Advanced knowledge of effective business development in a Radiology setting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent people leadership skills to motivate outstanding results
- Collaborative and engaging team player style with the ability to work across clinical and operational teams
- Strong strategic thinking with practical commercial awareness
About Radiology Victoria and Sonic Healthcare
Radiology Victoria (RV) is part of the Sonic Healthcare network, providing high-quality imaging services to both Epworth Hospital locations and the wider community.
RV employ approximately 330 highly skilled Radiologists and staff, providing Angiography, Intervention, Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD), Computed Tomography, Dental X-Ray (OPG), General X-Ray, MRI, 3D and Contrast Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and PET and Ultrasound.
