Job Description
- Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap for the lending portfolio.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from development through to optimisation and retirement.
- Monitor portfolio performance across financial, customer, risk, and strategic metrics.
- Lead commercial analysis, including pricing, forecasting, and business case development.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and innovation initiatives through research and insights.
- Drive new product development, including defining propositions and overseeing launch activities.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all products.
- Engage and influence stakeholders, including executives, government bodies, and regulators.
- Prepare and present reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Champion customer outcomes, ensuring products deliver value and align to target markets.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Product & Portfolio Manager Should Have
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in product, portfolio, or commercial management within financial services.
- Proven experience managing product portfolios and driving performance outcomes.
- Strong commercial and financial analysis capability, including pricing and forecasting.
- Experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full product lifecycle from development to retirement.
- Experience operating in highly regulated environments with strong risk and compliance focus.
- Ability to identify, assess, and manage product and portfolio risks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with executives and governance forums.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategic initiatives.
- (Desirable) Experience in lending, mortgages, banking, or government-backed finance programs.
