Solution Architect (Modern Workspace)

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale acquisition transformation program, focused on merging two enterprise-level environments. This role will provide end-to-end architectural leadership across Microsoft domain services, including Active Directory, End User Support, UCCX and Microsoft 365.

You will operate as a key technical leader, driving architecture design from inception through to completion, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and enable a seamless integration of systems and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion across Microsoft Domain services (AD, End User Support, O365, UCCX)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design solutions aligned to business needs and transformation goals
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
• Own and drive the consolidation and integration of enterprise environments during the merger program
• Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets and standardisation to improve efficiency and consistency
• Produce high-quality documentation to support understanding of current and future-state architecture
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, user experience and operational efficiency
• Identify, communicate and mitigate architecture and delivery risks throughout the lifecycle

Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in solution architecture, ideally within enterprise environments or transformation programs
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Domain technologies, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and End User Computing
• Proven experience leading or contributing to system integration or merger/acquisition programs
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and robust enterprise solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
• Experience developing architectural documentation, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across both technical and non-technical audiences
