I’m partnering on a newly created opportunity for Data Test Analyst to join a major transformation program focused on moving and validating critical data across multiple platforms.

This is a role for someone who sits comfortably in the space between data, testing and migration delivery. You’ll be responsible for making sure data is moved accurately, reconciled properly and validated across upstream and downstream systems, while also supporting broader warehouse and integration testing activity.

The role will involve

• Owning the testing and validation activities across a complex data migration stream
• Performing detailed source-to-target reconciliation, identifying mismatches, gaps and data quality issues before go-live
• Validating data movement across warehouse and reporting environments, ensuring outputs are accurate and fit for purpose
• Working across ETL and integration flows to confirm data is landing correctly and behaving as expected across connected systems
• Building test scenarios, documenting outcomes, logging defects and supporting retesting through to resolution
• Partnering with delivery, data and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical test coverage
• Supporting assurance around data completeness, transformation accuracy and the integrity of key business information throughout the migration lifecycle

What they’re looking for

• Previous experience in a Data Migration QA / Data Test Analyst / DWH QA style role
• Strong hands-on SQL skills, with the ability to interrogate data, compare datasets and validate migration outcomes across multiple environments
• Experience testing within modern data platforms / warehouse environments, with a solid understanding of how data moves through ingestion, transformation and reporting layers
• A strong grasp of reconciliation testing, data profiling and quality validation, including checking for completeness, duplicates, field-level accuracy and schema issues
• Exposure to API or integration testing, including validating files, extracts or system-to-system data movement
• Confidence producing test plans, test cases, traceability documentation and defect logs

Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman and broader test management
