Hands-on People & Culture Business Partner role based in Perth CBD for small, growth-based business.
We are partnering with a growing and purpose-driven organisation within the renewable energy sector to appoint a People & Culture Business Partner.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, values-led business at the forefront of the clean energy transition, where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering people initiatives that support sustainable growth.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this is a hands-on, end-to-end generalist role suited to a proactive HR professional who enjoys working across both transactional and operational activities.
As a trusted partner to leaders across the business, you will be highly visible and embedded within the organisation, providing practical, timely and commercially sound HR support. You will work closely with stakeholders to build capability, lift engagement and drive a positive workplace culture aligned to the organisation's values and purpose.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding
- Partnering closely with leaders to provide coaching, guidance and development support
- Championing a strong, visible stakeholder engagement approach across all levels of the business
- Supporting and implementing people initiatives and programs aligned to business priorities
- Managing where required, employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgement
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and compliance
- Assisting with workforce planning, capability development and organisational effectiveness initiatives
We are seeking a generalist people & culture business partner who has previously worked within a small growth organisation, where the HR function has continued to evolve both from technical and best practice respect. You will be a hands-on generalist equally comfortable and confident with transactional and operational HR requirements. Stakeholder engagement, strong interpersonal skills and professional presentation ability are essential. You will possess a sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and enjoy sharing your knowledge in a clear and pragmatic fashion. You will coach and develop leaders to build future people capability and support a continued culture of connection, value and empowered contribution. You will enjoy working autonomously with clear direction.
