Wisely is assembling experienced shutdown crews for a packed program of CHPP and Fixed Plant outages running from July through to December 2026. With multiple shutdowns scheduled across Tier 1 Bowen Basin coal operations, this is an opportunity to lock in months of consistent work, maximise your earning potential, and work alongside some of the industry's most experienced maintenance teams.

Shutdown Schedule (July - December 2026)

• 7 July - 16 August (5 weeks)
• 19 August - 26 August (2 weeks)
• 29 August - 3 September (10 days)
• 16 September - 23 September (8 days)
• 24 September - 22 October (5 weeks)
• 29 October - 15 December (7.5 weeks)

About the Roles

We Are Seeking Experienced And Trade-qualified Personnel, Including

• Mechanical Fitters / Fitter & Turners - Australian recognised trade certification required
• Boilermakers - Australian recognised trade certification (ISO 9606 weld test required)
• Riggers - RI or RA licence with proven shutdown experience

You will be working across CHPP and fixed plant maintenance, supporting shutdowns and planned maintenance activities. Experience within fixed plant operations will be highly regarded. A strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork is essential.

What You’ll Need

• Australian recognised trade certificate (where applicable)
• Current driver’s licence
• High Risk Work Licence (Rigging, where applicable)
• Minimum 12 months coal mining experience (CHPP experience highly regarded)
