We are partnering with a well-established Canberra accounting firm that has built an outstanding reputation over the past 20+ years. The firm has grown to approximately 70 staff and 7 Partners and is recognised among the AFR Top 20 accounting associations.

They provide services across Business Services, Tax, Advisory, SMSF, Financial Planning and Lending across a client a broad range of industries including construction, consulting and healthcare, ranging from sole traders to businesses with turnovers exceeding $180M.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant (Business Services) looking to take ownership of their own client portfolio, develop leadership skills and progress towards partnership.

The Role

• Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients

• Provide tax planning and business restructuring advice

• Prepare, delegate and review compliance work

• Lead, mentor and develop junior team members

• Work closely with Partners on advisory and client engagements

About You

• 3+ years' experience within Australian public practice

• Degree qualified in Accounting or a related discipline

• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying (desirable)

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• High attention to detail with a proactive mindset
