Purpose of the Role
As the Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, you'll be steering and leading BRITA Group's business and organization in Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities include driving the local translation and implementation of the Group Strategy and SBS strategies for the market. Furthermore, selecting and guiding the lead team in the market, fostering an engaged, empowered and efficient Australia and New Zealand organization. You'll also be responsible for driving revenue and profit development for the BRITA Australia and New Zealand across all three SBS, Consumer, Professional Filter and Dispenser. Additionally, you'll take charge of talent development, in the collaboration with APAC Regional team and continue the journey towards a High Performing Organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and implement Group & SBS strategies for the market with concrete actions, KPIs and appropriate measures, in close collaboration with SBS Lead Teams, APAC Regional Management team, and Corporate Functions.
- Drive revenue and profit development for all SBS in the market.
- Focus on talent development and growth, and further organizational development for the market.
- Establish and continuously enhance an efficient organizational structure in the responsibility area.
- Represent the subsidiary to external and official entities, fulfilling MD and board mandates.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree.
- Extensive and multi-year management experience (sales, marketing, and finance) with P&L responsibility.
- Proven experience in leading teams with several layers and their various business and functional areas,
- Experience in successfully leading and motivating cross-cultural teams.
- Industry experience in consumer goods/utilities, with knowledge of BRITA’s relevant distribution channels and customer structures.
- Ideally, successful management experience in family-owned businesses with entrepreneurial structures.
